Rock climbing

Climbers have a great variety of choice in Passy: two small chalk sites, Larses and Barmus, where climbing is generally on slabs with grips and réglettes (some cracks and vertical walls at Barmus), the climbing blocks at the Plaine-Joux site and the exceptional adventure ground in the Fiz mountains.

The Fiz chain is one of the largest limestone climbing site in the French Alps (200 to 600 m long routes). Opposite Mont Blanc, south-facing, these routes range in difficulty from 5 to 8. The guides in Passy will be able to share their experience with you in this adventure playground.
